Our adjustments

Well..it is day 3 of Addy's arrival. We are both making some adjustments!! Addy came from a home with just her human mom and dad to our home where there is Kyla and Kaleb and then Zac 3 days a week. She is doing good with the kids but she isn't getting as many naps as she is used too. There is action round here ALL the time!! Her old peeps said when she gets tired, her face gets pink~~well, I can tell you, it was Pink last night, all around the eyes, nose and cheeks, ha! I can totally relate cuz I thought I was gonna die of no sleep when the munchkins moved in with us 2 years ago. Today she is doing much better.

We do have some food issues~~I like hers and she likes mine!! Mom isn't sure what to do, cuz my food is always down all day and she eats twice a day. If they keep my food down, then she will eat and I am used to having my food there for when I gets hungry. I don't know what the rest of you do that have more than one dog?? And....this Dog-zilla drools when she drinks, then shakes her head and gets water all over the place~~nothing like a Scottie would ever do!! So now we have a towel under the water bowl~~plus she has little snorts, whats up with that anyways?? bol

I am not doing so well in sharing my toys. Addy has her own and she still goes right to mine. She LOVES loves loves squeaky toys and she emptied the toy bin 3 times today!! I do have to growl and let her know which ones she can play with and which ones she cant. It just really makes my furs stand on end!! Luckily she hasn't played with the hedge hog that Uncle Ed gave me, or else I think I would just come right out of my furs!!! Mom got us our own bones and separated us!!!
We run and chase each other and it is fun but man, this Dog-zilla can get those ole logs going and trample poor little me. So when I am done, I stop~~which means I am done~~to Addy that means bite my legs until I have to growl to let her know to BACK-OFF!! Funny thing though, sometimes when I bark she jumps!! Har har har!! This Dog-zilla doesn't even bark~~mom is loving that part but who doesn't even bark?? So I make up fur both of us BOL

This morning, I had a really hard time cuz she was getting my moms attention more than me and I didn't like that at all!! So, I was snipping and growling and Mom tried to explain that this is all new to her too and that she needs some attention~~Do I care bout that??? NOPE!!! I am trying to keep Addy in check though! LOOK at that mug?? Mom says I will love her someday!!

My World has just been turned upside down like you wouldnt believe!!

Yep, that's right~~My little Scottie world has just been turned upside down and it is unbelievable!! I am hoping that this is all a Majorly BAD, dream, but I have a feeling that it's not!! Before I tell you what happened, I want you to know that I had NO prior knowledge of this, nor was I even asked or consulted bout the whole situation! How Rude!! OK... So...I was just sitting my Mom minding my own business......And...in walks Dog-zilla!! Honestly~~She pranced right in like she owned the place, I was polite and we did the you sniff me and I sniff you bit~~ And...then they have the nerve to tell me that....this is your new (gulp) lil sister!! WHAT????? S-I-S-T-E-R!!!! She is like a zillion ft tall,~~little???? She is a 9 mo old American Bulldog!! A family needed to give her up due to them having a new baby. I can't believe it but it is true......

Her name is Jersey and we want to keep it out of respect to the family. Tom is a BIG Cubs fan~Wrigley field is on Addison St~~so her name is Addison Jersey!! So here is Addison, called Addy fur short. She immediately took over most of the couch with her HUGE.... Dog-zilla body!! and..MAN!! Does this girl have some tongue on her~~She will enter the tongue contest fur sure!!She just made herself at home and dug into "My" toys!! I wasn't happy when she snagged "My" chewy bone~~I had to GROWL bout that!! My life is just ruined, all that I thought was "mine" apparently isn't mine after all!! I am not doing really good at sharing my toys at all!! I keep growling at her!! I showed the sittin... spot to watch the neighborhood and the pesty squirrels!!
Addy says, Come on Jazz~~show me the upstairs!! Jazz?? What's that all about?? Geezzz
Kaleb was scared at first, but now both the kids like her~~rats!!!She is a girl but I can tell you that she isn't a girlie girl. She doesn't even bark and doesn't even like the color pink. She is more of a Tom-girl, so least I don't have to worry bout her using my pink phone to call "My" Uncle Ed~~and wanting to borrow my pink stuffs!! I did have to show her xactly who IS the boss round this house already~just so she knows!! She does like to play so that could be, and I say could be fun!! She gives me a run fur my money!!

Look at this Smug look from Addy~~I can tell that I am gonna have to deal with some Attitude from this Dog-zilla!!Anyway, I can't believe I am sayin...this but Welcome my new sister Addison to Blogland!!

I usually dont Arrooo, I just bark and act crazy. But the humans here were making sounds which made me break out in an Arroo...listen and see fur yourself!!

My Pot of Gold

Leprechauns and 4 leaf clovers are all part of St. Patricks Day!!They say that there is a pot of gold at the end of the Rainbow.... I love the pretty rainbows.....Aren't they soooo colorful and beautiful??At the end of my Rainbow there is a pot~~But is doesn't have any gold in it!! It has something in it that is far better than Gold!!

I am hiding out in this new "Bears" fort that Mom made fur Kaleb out of Chicago Bears material. The kids are runnin..round looking fur me Ha! and Ssshhhhh......they don't even know that I am in here, hehehe. Actually, it is pretty cool in here. There are Christmas lights hanging in here, a mattress with a really comfy blankie, a soft pillow and a few toys to chew on, I might just make myself at home here and take a snooze.....and yes, they are still looking...they are so lame, BOL
