Jazzi meets Addi

Tom came over and brought Addi over. I wasnt sure about this cuz Addi is still missing Jazzi. They each did the I sniff you and you sniff me game. Jazzi was nosing and nipping just a bit but it didn't seen to bother Addi.
They even went outside and sniffed.
Aren't these 2 cute faces? Im thinking.....oh they are going to get along just fine. Wrong!!!!
I was in the LR and they were in the Dr doing their sniffing still. When .....all of a sudden I hear commotion and there was lots of growling going on and I got up to find a full out fight. Jazzi was biting at Addi and Addi was protecting herself and they knocked chairs over. I jumped in to pull Addi away and about that time Addi moved really fast and really strong and she thrust me backwards and I fell on the floor and I dropped my phone and I screamed lol

They were still going at it and I managed to break it up and send Jazzi to the couch and hang onto Addi. Tom was out weed wacking for us. From the behavior earlier,  I figure that Jazzi thought.....well I'm here and I'm the dog in charge. Addi probably thought.....I don't know where you came from but I've been here much longer than you have and I'm the dog in charge.

We kept them separated and so needless to say they won't be the best of friends lol.
But it did add some excitement to my day. Lol
Remember to add the Welcome Wagon to your blog list. We have a new pup in Blogville (as soon as i finish it up) and also become a friend of the Welcome Wagon.

  1. it is always a good idea for dogs to meet outside their territory - a little walk around the block to introduce them first before coming into the home would have helped.

  2. So . . . Addi and Jazzi did NOT offer the Welcome Wagon to each other? BOL! Mom told me NOT to say that but I just had to!

    Your Pals,

    Murphy & Stanley

  3. BaaaaWaaaah What Murphy and Stanley said...

SO tell us....Limping Antelope... do you have any scratches or dents after the... EXCITEMENT???

WE are FOLLOWING the Welcome Wagon...
It is just WONDERFUL... THANK YOU FUR DOING IT fur ALL of Blogville...

  4. Yes nothing like a little disagreement to liven up the day BOL. Yes we are following the Welcome Wagon - so great of you to welcome the new ones!
    Mr Bailey & Hazel

  5. Wow, sounds like something that would happen with me! BWAR HAR HAR I've been known to be totally anti-social too. Maybe they will work it out. If not, separate corners for them. :)
    Grr and Woof,
    Sarge, Pol Comm

  6. Yeah, probably a bit of jealousy. If it was like fights around here, there was lots of growling, gnashing of teeth, but no injuries.

Too bad they didn't realise all the fun they could have had together.

  7. I didnt know that he was bringing her over. Addi wont be back until after Jazzi is gone and she will be glad to have the place to herself. It was pretty scary with both being good size dogs, I was just trying not get bit by either one of them lol

  8. Oh No...puppers wars....yep we get the with Sidebite and his Brother Mickey when he comes over...........but, after the non welcome greet, things settle down and all is well!

    The Mad Scots

  9. I've got the new one on my list. I was trying very hard not to add any new ones, but I had a breakdown and added two yesterday.

  10. Maybe they just had to get it out of their system and they will become friends....I hope, I hope.

    Aroo to you,

  11. Ruh Roh. Wells, at least you gots to see if your floor was clean!! BOL!!! What? Oh, sorry. Ma said that wasn't funny. I make Ma fall on her arse all the time....she doesn't thinks it funny either...peeps are strange.
Wells, at least your weeds got whacked! ☺
What? Ma says I need to stop. adios.
    Ruby ♥

  12. Are you OK? A little sore? I'm so glad you were able to take care of their squabble. We bet it must have been a little scary!

  13. So no-one was badly hurt then?
As Gail has recently learned, behaviour between us dogs does not always go to plan.
    Toodle pip!
PS I am a bit upset that this post casts my darling Addi in a bad light. I am sure that Jazzi provoked her and Addi's response has been exaggerated...

  14. Oophs, you never know how two dogs are going to react. We've even had a Cavalier turn nasty when we didn't know she had a nasty bone in her body !
    Loves and licky kisses
    Princess Leah xxx
PS It wasn't me, it was a previous paws !

  15. Yikes! We're glad to hear there were no vet visits. Whew!

    Love ya lots♥
    Mitch and Molly

  16. Awww, maybe they just need some time and slowly they will learn to become friendly.

  17. Oh Addi poor baby. You better let that kid know who's boss
    Lily & Edward

  18. Uh Oh....Hope they figure it out, or at least tolerate each other when each come to visit!
We love the Welcome Wagon and will proudly show the badge (and link). thanks so much for putting it together!
    Dory and the Boyz

  19. Oh Boy! That is no fun. Glad no one, including you, was hurt. Love the Welcome Wagon!!!!
