I gots a problem

Can I be Frank?? I have a BIG problem here. My Mom has gone off the deep end and shes getting crazy. 3 Months ago, she got her new Fitbit and she has been acting really weird. She exercises which I sleep right through cuz they are boring with a capital B and she eats healthy stuff and she eats grapes and stuff like that.... that I cant have, and whats up with that anyways?
She goes on walks and runs and leaves me at home all by my lonesome. She's always checking her steps instead of paying the proper attention to me and lastly she has her Weight blog that she worries about more than mine!! That Mom of mine......what am I gonna do with her?
And now...things have gotten bizarre around here. She has been looking for more ways to get steps around the house. I mean its.....getting down right embarrassing.
She actually jogs and does these squaty things when she vacuums!!
And....you should see her dancing and let me tell you....you DON'T want to hear her sing while shes suppose to be sweeping the floor...really Mom?

Her latest thing is this hoopy thing. She tries to keep it around her waist and it is the most hilarious thing ever to watch..trust me. I have to giggle to myself and sometimes it just really cracks me up!!!
I think she is become a exercise maniac.
Actually I'm surprised that she hasn't hung herself with it yet or broken her leg or knocked that ole hip outta socket!! BOL
I must admit that she is working hard and I have to give her some credit. I had a talk with her about her leaving me at home. So now we go on 2 walks a day to make up for the times I got left at home, and now she runs while my dad is at home so that I wont be so lonely, so I am one happy camper. Plus...she promsies to pay more attention to my blog first, so things will be ok I think. We just gotta keep our moms in check sometimes.
If you want to check her progress you can find her over at Keep Calm, Eat Healthy. She'd love your encouragement.

  6. You have a serious problem there. She's trying to go back to her childhood. That's not enough-she's trying to go back to the 1950's as shown by the hula hoop. Help her along-insist that she dump the cell phone and carry around heavy change for pay phones. No more HD-TV, she needs to watch Jack LaLanne on a green and black TV that's five inches across for the screen and five feet for the cabinet. She can get a real workout by driving a heavy Packard with no power steering and that will give her a real workout for the upper body.

  11. She should know more calories are burned on a dog walk then a dog free walk. At least for our Lady cause we try and drag her and she has to hold us tight!

  15. My momma is training fur a marathon, so she's off running ALL THE TIME. But the advantage of that is afterwards, she just wants to curl up on the couch with ME and take a nap! I bet there's still fun stuff like that you can do with her.
