YIKES!! I have a BIG problem here!! Need help!!

It was a cold snowy day today, we got about 5 more inches of the white stuff. I did take several naps today and then this afternoon, I was just moseying around the house and taking a looksie at what was around. There was no food on the table~~~but I found these other items and I am getting a bad feeling from this all. NO good can come from what I saw. I found some kind of elastic rope thingies~~umm....wonder what you do with these things?Next my eye caught this big wood sleigh type of deal~~I sniffed it and it doesn't move by itself!!And by Mom's desk area, I found this sign~~I heard Mom talking about the times we are in right now with the conomy and stuff and that we each need to what we can to help out with the family finances. She said we have plenty of the white stuff outside and that she thinks that this may be good for me!! YIKES!!!! I am really getting worried now! I mean putting a cute doggie like me to work! I say this is just Appalling~~ME~~working??? I mean I can do so many other things:
I am pretty good at catching mice~~
I can chase squirrels really fast~~
I can entertain the munchkins~~
I could be in a food race, cuz I can eat really fast~~
I could model some scarfs, clothes etc.
BUT......pulling a sleigh!! I am sorry, that job just isn't for me. I am a girlie girl and gee..I might break a sweat or worse~~a nail!! Anyone have any ideas how to get out of this situation? Will entertain any ideas and need them ASAP!!!

  1. If you'll send the sleigh to Jack, he will fix it so that you'll never have to worry about it again. You do need some sawdust don't you? :)

  2. Hiding under the middle of a king-size bed usually works for a while - then someone gets out the laser light and we have to chase it.

If you see the reindeer antlers appear, you might be in trouble!

  3. OMD OMD I'm very much afraid that your mom might have seen my post where the GRINCH caught me and made me haul "Who's" pressies.
I am soooo very much sorry. This is a very scary situation.
Maybe if you PROMISE to not bring any more mice into the house she will give this idea up. Worth a try. I'm just sayin'.

  8. Well Jazzi this is what Mom and I do when a job appears that an event is coming up we might not like we say 'sorry we have no upper body strength..we are girls'! However if brain power is needed we are your girls.

  9. Pack up the torture devices and sent them the Sibes way. Then, do as the Rocky Creek Scotties advice. Oh, no, wait, it's a waterbed...hmmm. Maybe you can find a couch or perhaps you can hide behind a very large stuffy. Boy, this is a tough one. Make sure you give us an update, now that you got us all concerned.

  11. Looks like you have a snowman invasion like our pal Frankie Furter!! I feel for you, Jazzi - mom is always setting me up to do silly things. My best advice - just lay down & pretend to go to sleep. Good luck....

  12. Oh Jazzi, what a terrible plight. Of course you should not be made to pull a sleigh, or do any such menial work. How to avoid it? Well, remember us Scottish terriers have a very efficient braking system. Many is the person who has discovered that if I want to stop any sniff something, then it takes a powerful and determined human being at the other end of the lead to overcome the might of my four paws and legs set at the appropriate angle. I think you should have no problem at all demonstrating your resistance to demeaning sleigh pulling. I mean, its OK for huskies, but it's not what we're FOR, is it! (Whereas we do such an excellent job decorating shortbread tins)
    Best of luck then...
    Cheers, H.

  14. Oh Jazzi....I am worried about your Mom.....after all she is related to my wife....so need I say more....!! My suggestion, chew the bungie cords in half.....you are good at chewing, next air mail the sled to me.....I can always put good wood to use in the workshop!! Next, use the sign for your dinner placemat.....and be sure you slobber all over it!!! And last.....hang out on the couch as if nothing has happened! Good luck chum!!!

  20. This is preposporous......not sure we have the right spelling but you get our drift!
Of course you cannot be used to pull a sleigh for a couple of dollars!
Sit tight - we will go get some deer from the woods at the back of our house and send them over!
