Thanks Oreo.
Diana here: Today is the 1 yr anniversary of Jazzi's passing. The time has gone fast and slow sometimes. I have always wanted a Scottie and finally after years of waiting for 87 reason I finally got the dog of my dreams....my sweet Jazzi. This was her first day with us.
This was her last day with us...August 23, 2014
Being a pup she was quite curious
Jazzi was always up for a new tricks:
She love to play with all the grand kids:
Jazzi loved..loved..loved her Tacos:
Jazzi even carried tacos with her, Ha!
She dearly LOVED her Uncle Ed and Aunt Linda: Uncle Ed was very special to her.
Jazzi has always loved her friends via pictures and in the furs. Benny and Lily.
This is Pippen and Abigail... a friend of Jazzi's.
Jazzi enjoyed many dates with her boyfriend..Sweet William.
Jazzi and Addi were best friends. They fought, ran together, and chased each other ALL over the house. Jazzi was constantly trying to teach this pup about what to do and what not to do.
They watched TV together on my lap!
And spent many an afternoon on the porch enjoying the day!
Last summer the day before my birthday I could tell that she wasn't right. She wasn't eating very much. I kept an eye on her and on my birthday she was having a hard time getting around. She was trying really hard and we celebrated my birthday. The morning after my birthday she couldn't get out of her bed, stand up, or walk. I carried her outside and she couldn't even go potty. I knew that this wasn't going to be good and took he to the vet and yes....the news was not good. She had a tumor and there were things that they could try but she was too weak and her chance of survival was 35%. She would need transfusions to hopefully get stronger and her chance of getting through that was very low so I had to make the hardest decision that I hated to do. I knew it was right because I could see it in her eyes....she just couldn't make it. She looked at me...like... Let me go!! I cant explain that look that we had with each other but she was telling me..its ok!!
This is our last picture together.
I had for for 8 wonderful years and I loved her and she certainly loved life and her family. She will always hold a special place in my heart. I still think of her and have sweet memories of My Jazzi.
I will see her again someday and I know that she is there to Welcome dogs that are coming...kinda like her own Welcome Wagon!!
and that they are all enjoying the endless supply of Tacos in heaven!!
We all love you little Angel Jazzi!!
What a beautiful post for our angel. I have also seen that look from a beloved pet saying "it is time". It helps but it still hurts. Thank you for sharing your special memories with us and letting us all celebrate the wonderful girl she was!
ReplyDeleteYes we certainly do miss her so very much. We have great memories of the times Jazzi and Sweet William went on their dates. Jazzi was a joy to photoshop for she had so many expressions. We remembered the date and wondered if you could face going down memory lane yet.
ReplyDeleteWe had always hope to met Jazzi in the furs. There will only be one Jazzi.
Sweet William The Scot
Lots of great photos to remember Jazzi. Sending you lots of Golden Hugs. Golden Woofs
ReplyDeleteWe have a day like that coming up in 3½ months. First Daisy, then Jazzi and then Kyla. 2014 wasn't kind to us. Before we have to go through our one year anniversary, we all get to get our minds off of it on October 4-Taco Day. Jazzi wants us to honor her that way and Kyla would be all for the food. There's no way we can bring them back, but we can celebrate what we did have together.
ReplyDeleteWe can't even look at a taco anymore without thinking about Jazzi. Sure do miss that sweet girl.
ReplyDeleteSending hugs from Ohio. Jazzi was just beautiful and so full of fun! And we're so sorry for your loss.

We didn't make it through the whole post without leaky eyes. Jazzi was the first dog that we actually REALLY got to know (besides the local ones) cuz you called us very early on and we met you and Jazzi together. Thoughts of angel Jazzi today!

ReplyDeleteOther than the little puppy photos, we remember all the adventures. Can't believe it's been a year. She was such a character....a true scottie. We miss her, too.
ReplyDeleteYour post has made me remember and miss her. The time has gone much too quickly, and I know all too well that the pain of her loss is still felt by you and others like me who shared it with you. She was indeed a special Scottie, and she is not forgotten and missed by many like me.
ReplyDeleteJazzi left us so MANY fun Memories... She was and IS much Beloved in Blogville...
ReplyDeleteMy tears are running again for this wonderful pup... and I will celebrate her taco day with blogville ,I hope my mom can make me a real taco this year....
ReplyDeleteJazzi was so very special to all of us and we thank her especially for introducing us to TACOS, and when we get to eat them, we ALWAYS think of Jazzi. The pain and heartache of those touch decisions are heart-wrenching...but they do let us know when it is time. It is important to remember that when they don't have quality of life anymore...it is time. Hugs and love coming out to you today. We will have some tacos in Jazzi's honor! xo Chloe and LadyBug
ReplyDeleteAnniversaries make us cry but make us remember the good times too. They always say that no one really dies as long as someone remembers them, so I know Jazzi is still with you!
ReplyDeleteThat was a very very nice way to remember Jazzi. Since I didn't get to meet her it is so cool to be able to see her life and she sure had fun. Mommy says she is with Angel Sasha and they are eating tacos at the 24 hour taco stand across the bridge!
ReplyDeleteZiggy Out!!
Sending you lots of love Diana. x x x
