Mile 21, 22, 23 and 24 of the Mayoral Marathon

(for the beginning of the race, click here)
Mile 21
is heading out onto the country roads.  (you may have to bigify the pictures to read them)
One wrong turn can really mess you up...I'm just sayin...
Hey, Where are we at??  I don't know but it looks like a cool track. This could be fun to run on.
WAIT!! Call me crazy but...it seems like we have been round here already.....something isn't making any sense!! WOW!! These guys mean business....where did they come from?
They are literally on our tails......don't know about you but I don't want to get bit in the butt!!

I think we better split and like ASAP!! Jump...Run...Fly... just do what you gotta do!!
**************************************************************
Mile 22
Mile 22 is taking us down by the beach. I must be in the lead so I am just gonna keep on keeping on!!
Oh...I see...where all the guys are now.....BOL....They don't even realize it yet but they are giving us girls time to get ahead of them, BOYS!!! They just cant run past a pretty girl!!
HA!! HA!! They see the dad and suddenly they are all scaredy cats and getting outta there!! This cracked us girls up!!
This is our plan to deal with this humongous DAD!!
And .....believe me...that's exactly what us guys did!!
Guys: Hey girls wait up for us!!
Girls: Not a chance!!
*******************************************************************
Mile 23:
Is taking us around the countryside.....well I should say...up and down and criss-cross the country side. This is a place where the race will be won or lost. We all gotta make our moves pretty quick. As you can see everyone is truckin right along.
After the back and forth roads, this mile is ending with the hugest and smoothest run downhill but MAN!! what a killer going up that last hill was. Sarge, Casey, Misaki, and I (Ranger) made it up alright but our tongues were hanging out of our mouths. *where's the water? pant, pant....* I mean we were dying but look at ole Sarge. Didn't phase him in the least......what  guy. He just jogged up like no big deal. We all have a new appreciation for Sarge now.

Mile 24
Aw....Finally back on flat road again. Little Oreo's legs were getting tired so I told him to hop on and I will carry him.
Hey LOOK!! Bertie caught up with us and is cheering for me...Aww...!! I was so glad to see him and how cool was it that he came to cheer me on in the last miles of the race. He's so thoughtful like that. That's my guy!! He's wonderful!!
Oreo: Addi...stop being all girlie and lets get moving. Bertie will be there at the end for you...lets go!!

As we head for Mile 25...it was so nice to have other doggies with their signs cheering us on. This guy was definitely barkin for us all....
On to Mile 25 and the rest of the race.........................

  18. Most of those boys that stopped to talk to that girl on the beach all have girlfriends! They better hope their girls don't find out.
