This was the day.....

For our first lawn mowing of the season. I mean the lawn was about 87 in tall. I honestly felt like I was living in a jungle.
It's all cut short now and it is so soft already. I can't wait to do some rolling on it tomorrow.
Although while dad was mowing they found lots of corn husks, corn stalks and corn cobs. They think it may have come com the corn fields when we had the tornados. Apparently farmers in Wisconsin are finding stuffs in their fields from Illinois.

  11. You found corn in your yard...that was from further away?!? That's crazy. I hope you don't get some corn growing in your backyard later in the year. Isn't it supposed to be knee-high by 4th of July?

  16. Hey Oreo!
Wow, my Dad hates to mow, but luckily we grow mostly moss in my yard. BOL OMD your grass looks perfect for comfy rolling and roaching. Watch out for the sticky clippings...that means a brushing.
