For our first lawn mowing of the season. I mean the lawn was about 87 in tall. I honestly felt like I was living in a jungle.
It's all cut short now and it is so soft already. I can't wait to do some rolling on it tomorrow.
Although while dad was mowing they found lots of corn husks, corn stalks and corn cobs. They think it may have come com the corn fields when we had the tornados. Apparently farmers in Wisconsin are finding stuffs in their fields from Illinois.
Hi Oreo, I'm Sally Ann, and my brother is Andy. Were from Atlanta. We used to blog ages ago, and now we have restarted. It's nice to meet you.
ReplyDeleteLook again, you might find something from the Kimberly diamond mines.
ReplyDeleteWow, exciting treasures in the lawn. Keep searching Oreo.
ReplyDeleteToo bad ya didn't find any creamed corn or corn on da cob.
ReplyDeleteWonder if some corn stalks will start growing this summer!
ReplyDeleteThat looks like PRIME rolling grass.
I's allergick to corn so I would rather find steaks or bbq in da yard myself...bol!
ReplyDeleteYour grass is so beautifully green and thick and lush, Oreo. A roll on it is sure going to feel wonderful!
ReplyDeleteLove ya lots♥

Oh how exciting, bet you can't wait to get out there and see what else you can find!

Have fun playing in that grass! Looks super fun
ReplyDeleteHappy rolling! Glad it was only corn husks that landed in your field during the tornados.
ReplyDeleteYou found corn in your yard...that was from further away?!? That's crazy. I hope you don't get some corn growing in your backyard later in the year. Isn't it supposed to be knee-high by 4th of July?
ReplyDeleteOz
Hope you didn't eat any of that corn bcuz it's probably rotten by now and we don't want you getting sick.
ReplyDeleteFirst mow of the season is always cool!

That is better than what Mabel found in our yard. A mouse that had been regurgitated by an owl - UGH

ReplyDeleteHey Oreo!
ReplyDeleteWow, my Dad hates to mow, but luckily we grow mostly moss in my yard. BOL OMD your grass looks perfect for comfy rolling and roaching. Watch out for the sticky clippings...that means a brushing.
