My Mailman
This is a picture of my wonderful mailman. I lay on my loveseat spot and watch for him cuz he leaves me a dog biscuit everyday in the mailbox/or gives it to me if I am on the porch. He also leaves the 2 munchkins a piece of candy everyday so they like him too. They snapped this picture when I was outside in the sideyard, so I wasnt able to get in the picture.

Well our mail lady doesn't stop by the house...she just drives by and put mail in our roadside box....but the ladies at the post office just adore us...they think we are too spoiled and love seeing us come in to mail our packages.

Isn't that nice...to have a mailman come by everyday and giving you a biscuit? No, we don't have that.

We bark our heads off to let mom know that the mailman has gone and we usually act like idiots by attacking each other and get ourselves in heaps of trouble! We act the same way when the UPS man comes too only he brings us treats!

ReplyDeleteHamish always used to bark when the postman arrived here. It was when he stopped doing this that I realised quite how deaf he had become.

Good job on squirrel patrol yesterday and Jazzi what a very nice mailman you have to bring you treats....wow!!! I here that when peoples with dogs go to the drive through window at the bank many banks have dog biscuits but I never heard of a mailman doing that. Of course most of the mail boxes in our city are on the curb and the mailman is in a truck.

I LOVE your MAILMAN. I have a wonderful MailLADY (Miss Patty). I don't get to see her very often. Only when something won't fit in my mailbox down by the road. Butt, when she comes up here... I love her. She doesn't give me treats though!!!

Our mailman who brings mail to our house is the biggest grumpy guy EVER!!! If there is a package or box I have actually seen him THROW IT onto my porch. This man has been delivering mail to my house for 20+ years and I don't even know his name. If there is something blocking the mailbox like a garbage pail he will not put mail in the box. One time I pulled up behind him when the garbage pail was in the way and said I would take the mail and he ASKED ME FOR ID!!! He knows who I am!!!!
ReplyDeleteOn the other hand, our office mailman, Audwin, is a JEWEL! He delivers the mail with personality and quite a bit of humorous sass! We love Audwin!!!
You have a cool mail man. We have a mail lady. I think she is scared of us cause she goes by our house very quick! Why would someone be scared of us?

We had her for a year and then she was gone!!! Bambi was so sad!! I called the post office and found out her had quit b/c she cancer!!! She did not beat the cancer!!! We, Bambi & I cried when we heard!!!!

We just think it is great that you have your very own mailbox!! We have to walk a block to get to ours, so we rarely even SEE our mailman!! You are soooooo very lucky!!

Our mail man, Ron, is great. Our mailbox is out on the mainroad (not at our house), but sometimes Ron comes to the house with a package - but we think it is just so he can scratch our ears and admire us.

We have a mailgirl. She is really nice. She brings biscuits for me and my little bro Blues. My mom and dad always take care of her too. They offer her ice tea in the summer. And she always gives us lots of pettings anytime of the year. She is REally REally nice!!! Woof Much Love, Josie

I am so glad to see your picture on this post. I was just over at Remington site and he talked about the 'mailman'. But I didn't know what a 'mailman' was. Our mailman is really cool too. When he is in a hurry he still comes by but he throws our mail on the ground. You are so lucky, Jazzi and your munchkins
