Road Trip~~

I was so....excited cuz Mom took me along in the car. I like to call it a Road Trip cuz that sounds "Cool" and "Important" but really it was a ride to the bank and back, but in any case, I don't care, cuz I was riding!!

I love to go to the bank cuz I know they give doggie treats there. I get the treat and Mom gets the money, so I figure it is a win, win for both of us and I'm happy and Mom is happy!! I am patiently sittin there, lookin at the lady in the window all cute and everything. The drawer thing came out and Mom got her envelope and Mom thought she was done and I am like ummm.. ummm.... cuse me!!! Biscuit here!! The lady in the window said, Oh dont forget the biscuit!! Uh YAH!!! I can't believe Mom almost forgot the most important thing!! Geezz.....
Ok, Thats what I am talking about, a nice big doggie biscuit, Come to mama!!! Once Mom gets it, she has to play this ridiculas game of I bite it and she moves it!! She is laughing and I am NOT seeing the humor in this dumb game. Moms can be so childish sometimes!!! Finally I was quicker than she was and I got the darn biscuit. By then my mouth was so slobbery, that it is a wonder that I could even hold it to eat it!!! But somehow I managed and gobbled it right up and it was delicious!! lick lick!!On the way home it was kinda warm, so Mom rolled down my window just a tad. I was able to stick just my head out and was smellin up all the smells, feelin the wind across my face and I could feel the flappin of my ears!! It was Great!!! I didn't have a care in the world, until......we saw a couple things moving. I mediately went into attack mode!!!
CATS!!! No offense to my cat buddies, but these were onory cats and I have seen them around before. I was growling and barkin so Mom just kept right on going. She wouldn't even let me out to take care of them!!
Something bout they might take care of me!!! hogwash!!I settled down and then we saw the firetruck out. I thought that it was pretty cool. They have 2 of them in this building. Didn't see the cute fireguys though!! Darn!!
We were almost home and this man caught my eye. I had to do a double take...maybe cuz I noticed the bright green sleighmobil he was in and some animals with big horns pulling him. Upon second look, I noticed that it was good ole Santa!! I remember him from last year. I asked Mom, is it that time already?? She said Pretty soon. I told Mom, that I remember 2 years ago, when I played Santa for the kids. They all liked that I brought them presents and I was quite the hit that year. It was fun but the beard got a little itchy!! Oh yah, Mom tried to get me to wear these little glasses!! Nope sorry!! No can do, so I was Santa without the glasses, :-) Hey!!! She was lucky that I even agreed to wear the suit and that crazy hat and the itchy beard~~Plus the suit had ummm bells on it so I actually jingled!!!! The things I do for Mom!!!See...kermit on the floor? That was my favorite stuffy for a long time until I finally destroyed him. When I got done with him, he had no eyeballs, no arms or legs, his mouth was ripped open and no stuffin..in him. Kermit was great to play with. Maybe I will ask Santa for another great stuffy this year.

  4. Jazzi that was a grrreat road trip you took. I know how to fix that problem with your mom not letting you out to "fix the cats" thingy. I have pulled this one several times and it ALWAYS works. PRETEND that you have to pee or...even better,,, poop. She will stop the car immediately... every time.... Then you get to "wander" while you pretend to search out the Perfect Place to put it.
Hey Jazzi, I have a Santa Paws suit too. Maybe we should find out if others have them and then we could post them on the same day. A Santa Paws Fashion Show Blog a thon. hehehe
    You look grrreat in yours!!
Poor Kermit... blind, quadrapalegic, and a mear shell of his former self. Jazzinasia was a kindness. LOL LOL

  5. Jeter here: Jazzi that is a really really fun road trip. when I go out in the car with Mom, Toby & Ginger I sit on her lap! One time when Mom stopped the car to talk to some lady I decided to surprise everybody and jumped out of it!!! The car was stopped and she and that lady were talking too long anywya I loved it, but Mom freaked out and does not permit me to jump out of the car anymore. So be careful when you see those careless cats out there and stay in the car!!! You looked very cute in your Santa outfit too. I destroy all my stuffies too!! Hugs, Jeter (as dictated to his Mommy)

  6. Hi Jazzi,
That was more than a road trip that was a grand adventure. I love the part about the wind in your face. Boy you saw lots of neat things. As for the cats, let me tell you I'm a cat but I wouldn't tangle with them either. They are street smart and I am not!!!
You get TREATS at the bank? Well that is pretty darn special.

  7. Hey Snazzi, We don't blame you for not wanting that fake beard - doesn't your Mom know we grow our own beards - you look pretty cute in that Santa suit - we like the idea that we could all post Christmas pictures on the same day - we only have one Santa outfit now (due to the fact that they taste soo-soo good) but maybe Mom can photoshop us.

  8. Great blog. I just jumped over from Sheryl's blog. I have joined to follow and look forward to getting to know you. I have two blogs, Arise 2 write and All Gods Creatures. All Gods Creatures is written in the voice of one of my dogs, Sitka. He and two of his brothers are therapy dogs and quite often he talks about his experiences in the hospitals, nursing homes or other facilities.

My mom has a Kermit too - she says it was always one of her favorite toys. He's up high on a shelf in her closet. Think she'll let me play with him? I have a thing for eyeballs too... I'm guessing no.
