Ever see My best friends wedding? The bride runs by with the soon to be husband chasing her and then comes Julia Roberts chasing the soon to be husband?
Well...in this case I let the dogs out and they saw a bunny. Enter stage right...Bunny runs across the yard followed by Oreo chasing the bunny followed by big ole Addi hot on the trail.
On the left out of sight of this picture are some bushes. The bunny runs around the bushes and re-enters stage left....same bunny runs across the yard again followed by Oreo chasing the bunny and big ole Addi still hot on the trail and they loose sight of the bunny.
I was just cracking up because neither of them figured it out. They are probably still scratching their ears wondering where that ole Bunny went!! Each time they go out, they still look for it!! HA!
Mom Kim here - Awwww, poor Oreo and Addi and they worked so hard too.
ReplyDeleteOh I know bunnies are not dumb when it comes to getting back at dogs. I live in a duplex and while my half of the bakyard is fenced the other half is not - meaning it is real easy for any little critter to come and go as they please - in this case the rabbit came into that yard and just sat right in the middle. Angel Shiloh, who was about 7 at the time, saw that rabbit and thank goodness for my fence - no matter how much he barked and Aroooo'd and tried to climb that fence - the rabbit did not move the whole time, it just sat and sat. I know that rabbit knew Shiloh could not get to it and I can just imagine the laughing it was doing.

BOL! Oh Oreo, don't you know to search EVERYWHERE?? We get stymied when we chase bunnies in our yard because there are a couple of parts of the fence where they can squeeze under and get out of the yard, but it's way too small for US!
