Then we went for a walk. It went pretty good.
Gee....we look at the same things. Synchronized looking. This big dog kept pouncing at me. Guess she wants to play but I just looked at her like WHAT is wrong with you dog!!
I can't figure out why he wont play. He looks like Jazzi and Jazzi always played.
We have been over to Addi's about 3 times and I have been in Addi's house and played in the backyard. The last time we brought Addi home with us. I did ok until......Addi got near my mom and she petted Addi, then all claws were out!! She is trying to give us both attention together and she hopes that we can get along.Diana here: I don't bring Addi over unless we go and get her and they walk in the house together. I guess I will keep trying and let them bond slowly.
Oh Oreo, you are SO LUCKY. To meet the utterly gorgeous Addi. Really, dear boy, I don't think you are fully appreciating all Addi's tremendous qualities…Sigh.
ReplyDeleteToodle pip!
Bertie (SO envious).
Might take Oreo a bit of time to understand that you can cuddle other dogs and still love him best.
ReplyDeleteWe think it's fantastic that you got to meet Addi. She'll have to show you how to play chasies upstairs....
sounds like you are doing it perfectly - meeting on neutral ground. Oreo is probably a bit possessive of you as he still isn't sure if he going to be left - hopefully in time that will settle
ReplyDeleteGOOD JOB.... BOTH of you... It will all work out... we just KNOW it...
ReplyDeletePee S...
We are wishing YOU TWO and all of your PEEPS a very much MAGICAL Christmas..
First and for most, Lady gets a big fat F- (and a report to Santa) for not realizing your blog wasn't showing up in Blogger and for not catching up after our holidays and meeting Oreo.
ReplyDeleteDear Oreo, we hope your peeps are more competent then ours. Welcome to Blogville, we look forward to getting to know you better.
Second, we sure Addi and you will learn to be friends, it just takes time.
I see that you both go to the same dentist BOL.
ReplyDeleteAroo to you,
Sully
We bet that you and Addi will be bestest friends, Oreo. You just have to give it a little bit more time.

ReplyDeleteHey...maybe some margaritas will help? ☺

Crikey that Sully's a funny one, aye?? You're doin' ok Oreo. You've gotta take your time with Sheila's mate. Their unpredictable.
ReplyDeleteOreo, I know you will learn to love Addi. She is a very special girl cuz she was furiends with your sister, Jazzi! Time and patience.....
ReplyDeleteAll good things take a little time. I agree with Ruby -- you'll be besties soon and we'll be raising our margarita glasses to your newfound friendship!!
ReplyDeleteWe think that slowly but surely, you two will become bestest friends!!
ReplyDeleteSmileys!

Oh Oreo, we promise your mom LOVES you to bits and pieces and that she has more than enough love to go around.
ReplyDeleteWally & Sammy
Hey Oreo...sometimes it is hard to get used to sharing mom with another pup, but we assure you your mom loves you very much and she has known Addi for a long time. When we first brought LadyBug home, it took quite awhile for everyone to adjust. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to you all! xo Chloe, LadyBug, and mama Jeanne
ReplyDeleteGive it time, we think you two will be best of furends!!
ReplyDeleteYour Pals,
Murphy & Stanley
Sounds good. Always meet outside, walk and then enter together. Edward still "mouths" our friend Benji if we are at his house and he is getting petted. Keep the spray water bottle handy
ReplyDeleteLily & Edward
It will take time.
