Jazzi and I had a scary experience.

Jazzi and I just had an scary experience. I was in my computer/craft room and sitting in the far corner of the room~sorting out all my scrapbook papers and reorganizing them. Jazzi was sleeping in the doorway. All of a sudden she popped up and looked like she saw a ghost. She sounded like she wanted to bark but it was just a soft whimper!! It caught my attention and I looked over at her. She was really scared, I could tell. I am like~ What is wrong Jazzi?? and she never took her eye off of who or what was in the hallway.

I am sitting there thinking, Did I shut the back door? yes. I didn't hear anyone coming up the stairs but could they without me hearing, ummm possibly. At that time, my mind went back to any scary movie that I have seen where some ax murderer comes in and gets you!! LOL My heart was beginning to pound. As it came closer down the hallway, Jazzi kept backing up slowly, she was still very scared. I was so deep in paper that I couldn't have gotten up to see what was there. So, I am thinking if someone is there, what will I do? How will I get away?? Jazzi was still backing up as it moved closer to the room we were in, I was really scared by then.

I was trying to pretend like there was really nothing there and it was at that moment that I saw it come into the room out the corner of my eye. I did jump for a moment, then I smiled and laughed. It was this helium balloon: It was hanging around downstairs from the Birthday party. Somehow it floated up the stairs and down the hallway and it sure scared Jazzi!! I have a ceiling fan in the room, so as it floated in, it kept getting hit by the blades and she was running round the room barking at it. It must have hit the blades about 4 times before it popped!! Jazzi was about fit to be tied by then. I got the balloon and tried to show her but she wanted no part of it. After I disposed of it, she still stayed behind the door, I guess she felt safe there!!
So....it is safe to say that she IS NOT a fan of helium balloons!! BOL

  7. Oh Jazzi mom and I were shaking in our collective booties waiting to see what was creeping toward you. That is hilarious....who would have thought a balloon could do that.

Jazzi you are a puppy after my own heart...not at all brave...I hear I noise and I head under the closest piece of furniture.
