Snoopervising and a Mom update

It was still cool when Mom left to go to Texas and while she was there for 2 weeks she hasn't gotten the things that she usually does. So...today we are sweeping and cleaning the front porch and getting the table/chairs out etc and making it all neat and clean. She doesn't even have plants in the planters, but she will get to it she says!! I am doing a great job snoopervising the job. I have to sniff through all the stuff she sweeps up, naturally ha! The pile is under the rocking horse and there were some good ole smells!! As you can see we have this big ledge, so I found out if I sit on the munchkins picnic table that I see over it really good and then I can keep an eye out on the neighborhood~~just trying to do my part!!

  3. So glad to hear that your Mommy is doing well. Do tell her not to worry too much about sweeping stuff up and all those chores. The world will not come to an end if they don't get done right away! Gail tells me that when she was in hospital for two weeks many many years ago she lost 10 lb despite eating absolutely everything they put in front of her (and being quite slim to start with), and afterwards she thought that she could have got rich selling a book called 'The NHS Diet'!

Glad things are getting back to some kind of normal. It's a good thing you are helping Jazzi! Tell your Mom, that is one heck of a diet plan, there must be a better way!

  10. Hi Jazzi,

I'm so happy to hear your mom is getting better, thanks so much for the update and for taking such good care of her; have you thought of a career as a doctor?

Our mom says that the only good thing to getting sick IS the weight loss... always nice to see the silver linings.

Keep up the good work with mom, especially the afternoon naps. Those are important!

  13. We are so glad your mom is back home and on the mend.
Tell her it is very important to take things easy.
Our own mum, who has not been ill, only did her planters last weekend and still has more to do.
    She is quite lazy sometimes.
    Take care
