One of Moms friends was IM~ing with the guy on facebook as she was talking to my Mom on the phone. BOL During that time, Mom was in the process of changing her password on Facebook and her friend told him to F off and right then it changed and he kept saying ~Are you there? Are you there? I cant see what you are writing!! BOL He was cut off the Facebook and there have been no problems since. Mom is able to sign on each time, so she knows it is fine.
She got with Yahoo, and she had to fill out all kinds of forms to report it, forms to try and get her e-mail back and forms to get her contacts back. Yahoo has been great so far and has restored 90 % of her old mail just through Dec 27th but hey! it is better than nothing. Now she is just waiting to see if they can restore my contacts and we will be good to go. If they cant we will need you to send us your e-mail again.Luckily Mom doesn't keep any account information in her E-mail and she doesn't pay bills on line except one. The only thing she was worried about was that she had just paid the Discover card that day and there was a confirmation e-mail there. She called the Discovercard and they said that no one could access their account by that confirmation e-mail but that they will monitor it just to make sure and there has been no activity on the Discover card.This is so crazy and very frustrating and we are sorry for all of you getting these goofy E-mails!! So that was OUR day yesterday!! :-) The GOOD news is: They didn't mess up my blog BOL!!!

OMD Jazzi and Mama Diana...what a mess you had to go through...but thank goodness they knew better than to mess with Jazzi's blog...she has furiends in high places who would hunt them down like a squirrel. Let us know if you need our email again.
Oh Mom said to tell you the email she got was from Diane Chambers...Mom KNEW that your Mom's name was Diana but she didn't even think about that.

Hehehehe...you should has seen my mum freakin' when hers gots dat email. Then hers sent YOU an email...a different one and they responded. Mum emailed Frankie cuz we knew his mom would knows.

We got that e-mail, but knew it was bogus, so we just deleted it. Glad you could sort it out. It has happened to us in the past and is very frustrating!!!!!

Glad you found out before any 'real' damage was done! this same thing happened to one of my friends, and when they asked me for money, I contacted their daughter right away...They are in their 80's, so I knew it wasn't them! I hope all continues to be okay!!!

Jazzi and Mom, we got that email as well but we totally ignored it because we knew your Momma was at home trying to bake you some homemade treats and we knew she didn't go out of the country to by that flour. So many scams around at the moment. A bit like Christmas, comes and goes. We've had emails for a similar thing. DELETE, delete, delete ....
Change your passwords regularly is a good thing to do.
Tell your mom not to stress about it Jazzi. She has done the right thing.... keep cool guys, there is an awful lot of internet space out there. THEY WILL ONLY GET US IF WE LET THEM.......

That happened to her too and she put the whole house on lockdown!!! Locked up every account she could think of!!! As for her bills, she says if someone wants access to pay them, then good for them!!!
